Everything God Made Is Very Good
Note from today’s Bible reading: Genesis 1-6
The Bible begins with the account of creation: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). The rest of the opening chapter describes how God created all things in six days.
On the first day, after creating light, the text says, “God saw that the light was good” (Genesis 1:4). Throughout the chapter, as God added more to this new world He was making, He “saw that” each new thing He made “was good” (Genesis 1:10, 12, 18, 21, 24). Finally, He “created man in His own image” and set him over His creation (Genesis 1:27-30).
At the end of all of this, once He finished creating all things, the record says, “God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good” (Genesis 1:31). Each part on its own was “good,” but everything working together in harmony as God designed it was “very good.”
God, in His perfect wisdom, designed His creation to work together. This is true of the plants, animals, and everything else in nature. It is also true of mankind – husbands and wives with complementary roles and humans exercising dominion over the world God has made. When done according to God’s plan, it reflects the Creator’s wisdom.
So remember that everything God made is very good. We cannot improve upon His design. Let us recognize His wisdom and then work within the framework of what He has made.

Greetings Andy, I hope you had a good start to the week.
Ive seen a few of your notes on my feed, always interesting, thank you.
I thought you may enjoy the approach I take to history: obscure historic books, looked at through a philosophic lens.
This one is about the book of Enoch:
